Announcement of name for New Religious Curriculum in Diocese of Parramatta Schools
Bishop Vincent Long this week announced the official name for the New Religious Curriculum which is currently being implemented in draft form across Catholic schools in the Parramatta Diocese. In an article published in  the Catholic Outlook, Bishop Vincent Long announced that this approach will be known as Living Life to the Full, drawing on Jesus’ words in John 10:10: “I have come so that they may have life and have it to the full”. Reflecting the richness of our Catholic Tradition that enables fullness of life through the Gospel, Living Life to the Full is an invitation for everyone to experience human flourishing.

“My dream for Religious Education in the Diocese of Parramatta is that the students come to know Christ and to love his Teachings, what He stands for and to be inspired by Him in order to follow in his footsteps and to give witness to the Values that he taught us and He exemplifies,” Bishop Vincent said. “It invites them to use what they learn to make a difference in the lives of others through being attentive, intelligent, reasonable and responsible.”

Year 7-10 Parent / Teacher Zoom interviews
The Years 7-10 Parent / Teacher / Student Meetings will take place on Thursday 24 June between 8.30 am - 6.00 pm. Emails were sent to families this week, please check you have received the booking email and that you book online. This year, meetings will be conducted remotely with parents having the opportunity to have a face-to-face conversation with each of their daughter's teachers via Zoom. Meetings will run for 5 minutes. To ensure that all meetings can be completed on schedule, it is essential that appointment times are adhered to. We recommend that a separate appointment be made directly with a teacher should any issues need longer discussion. Parents are asked not to book consecutive time slots and to allow at least a 5-minute gap between each meeting to ensure you can be ready for the next meeting at the designated time. The Meeting booking link is now open. The booking link will close on Wednesday 23 June, 12.00pm. Your confirmed Schedule of Parent-Teacher Meetings, including the Zoom link for your meetings will be sent to you via email once you have submitted your appointments.
