A massive thank you for supporting us this week with the COVID restrictions. It is so wonderful to see our community coming together as we work within set guidelines to ensure the health and wellbeing of students, staff, and parents.
We were so privileged last Friday to be able to hold our ANZAC ceremony. The event was extremely moving with Lieutenant Pamela Truscott Platoon Commander of the 7th Close Health Company speaking about her roles and responsibilities in the Army. We would like to thank our invited guests, Mr Justin McFadden, father of Henri and Louis; state and local representatives, MLA Christine Tonkin; Mr Jeremy Wood, president of the Cambridge Rotary Club and local members from Stirling Council Elizabeth Re and Stephanie Proud. A very big thank you to the P & C and all the wonderful families who brought in flowers and foliage for the wreaths and to the many families who came in the morning to put them together.
Enrolments for Kindergarten and Pre-Primary are now open. Information for enrolling in Kindy has gone out on Skoolbag. You can also access detailed information on our webpage. We know there are new parents in our community who are unsure of the Kindy enrolment process. We would appreciate it if any of our parents know such families, to pass on the information about enrolments.
All of the 2021 Kindy parents will be provided new Applications for Enrolment in Pre Primary 2022 from today.
What a fantastic day for our Swimming Carnival. There were so many excited children who swam brilliantly, cheered their lungs out for their factions and just enjoyed being part of a team! Huge thanks to Mr Marshall for his continued efforts in organising these events for our children, top effort! Big thanks also to the staff and parents who helped on the day, again shows what an amazing team community culture we have.
Newsletter update! We have listened to our community and have been working on ways to reduce the huge size of our newsletter. We are going to focus on current events and use links to the information and photos. We would love any constructive feedback as communication is such an important part of our school. It is also a very tricky one to get right for everyone so your input is important!
