Congratulations to our Week 4 & 5 Award Recipients

5/6 Clean Up Australia/Water Activity Day

Years 5 & 6 will be participating in a Clean Up Australia activity on Friday.  Students will be collecting rubbish along the road leading into Wooli as well as along the river shoreline.  After their community service activities they will be rewarded with a relaxing swim and full use of the fantastic facilities at the Solitary Islands Marine Park Resort.

Swimming Carnival News

Congratulations to Owen & Jasper  who represented the Clarence District at the Mid North Coast PSSA Carnival yesterday.  Both boys gave it their all and we are very proud of your achievements in making it to this level of competition.  With the swimming season finished for our students they are now encouraged to practice their running in preparation for the School Cross Country selections which will be on 5 April 2019.

K-1 & 2-3-4 Swimming Days at Solitary Island Resort

Students in K-1 and 2-3-4 will be participating in water confidence activity days in the next few weeks.  K-1 days are set for Tuesday 5th and 12th March and 2-3-4's activity day will be on 21st March.  Students will be able to practice their swimming skills and also have an opportunity to use the water slide and other activities at the Solitary Island Marine Park Resort.  We are so lucky to have this facility in our community and we thank the wonderful Management and Staff for allowing our school to use their facilities.

The P&C invite all parents to keep up to date with what’s going on via the P&C section of the Schoolbag app. It will have meeting minutes, membership forms and communication of upcoming events. If you would like to be involved, it’s a tiny $2 to become a financial member and a fun way to meet other families within the school. Citizens are also very welcome to become members.

If there is any questions about the P&C please feel free to email me at girlmeljo@gmail.com or contact the school.

Kind Regards
