Another week of improvement. Every day counts!
Two weeks into our Kindergarten Orientation program and the majority of our Little Northies are turning up. Even though we’ve had to modify this year it is great to see our staff, parents and kids being able to connect and get to know each other a little better.
Last week saw the last of the air conditioners being connected and trialled. Timing could not have been better as the hot weather starts to roll in.
Our Presentation Night will have to look a lot different this year due to COVID-19 guidelines. It will still be held on Monday 7th December but through the day and at school in the hall. The collective decision at last week’s Far West Principals’ meeting was to go with staff and students only and link in with families through technology. Finer details to come.
In respect to planning for the future if any families’ circumstances are going to change for 2021 and you know your child/ren won’t be attending Paradise next year could you please let us know asap so we can make that consideration for next year’s class placements. Thank you.
COVID-19 Guidelines for parents & carers
Unfortunately, the advice remains and the expectation is that parents will drop the children off and go in the mornings and remain outside the school, maintaining social distancing, in the afternoons.
Parents/Carers are permitted to visit the school for the following purposes only:
Note that all adults visiting a school must comply with the department’s COVID-safe requirements including personal hygiene, infection control and physical distancing guidelines. All visitors must sign the external visitors form each time they visit the school regardless of the frequency and duration of the visit.
This week’s Superstar is Jacqueel Garlick in 1 F. Jacqueel consistently follows school expectations and shows a growth mindset in technologies.
This week’s Legend is Kyron Grillett in K-6 R. Kyron for being an enthusiastic learner who is always focused on his learning.
