From the Principal

Dear Parents and Community Members,

It has been an absolute JOY to return to school this week, to reconnect with the children, staff and community members.

I deeply appreciate the ongoing commitment of the Leadership Team and staff during my absence, to the School Improvement Plan and educational programme.

I'm looking forward to witnessing the ongoing growth and development of each child as the year progresses.

God Bless,

Maria D'Aloia

Class Placements for 2022

Preparations are underway for 2022. Thank you to all of you who have completed the 'Return to School' Survey. This information will be used to determine class structures. As soon as class structures are finalised we will begin organising students into classes, which is a very complex task that requires much planning and thought.

Class teachers have a good knowledge of each student's academic development and social and emotional needs. Teachers will take all this knowledge into consideration, together with parent teacher discussions conducted throughout the year when determining class placements.

If there are educational or social emotional issues that you feel need to be considered, please inform me in writing, before Monday 11th October 2021.

This does NOT include teacher requests. Class teachers will have the responsibility of arranging students into respective classes; however, I will meet regularly with teachers throughout the whole process.

Please note: Any late requests or teacher requests will not be considered.

Thank you to our Receptions for hosting a lovely Liturgy around Father’s and father figures in their lives.

Sacramental Program

Eucharist

Eucharist is an act of thanksgiving to God and can also refer to the consecrated bread and wine or the Mass. To share in Eucharist is to know that Christ is at the heart of the life of the community.

Jesus shared meals with people to show how much he loved them. Before Jesus died, he shared a special meal with his friends which we call The Last Supper. This is where the traditions of Eucharist began.

First Eucharist Preparation

Session 2:Tuesday 7th September 6:30pm at St Joseph’s School Hall

Communion Celebration

All the best to Agnese, Nicholas, Sophie, Michelina and Adeline who will receive the Sacrament of Eucharist for the first time at 9:30am this Sunday 12th of September at Sacred Heart Church Hindmarsh.
