The Brush Telegraph

Week 9 – Term 4 2020

Message From The Principal

Dear Parents and Carers,

As we come closer to the end of the school year, we’d like to extend our thanks to you, our parent community, for demonstrating so much resilience and patience towards the circumstances we faced together. We strived together to get the best outcomes for our students despite the pandemic and you have stayed by our side the entire time. Thank you again.

We will be sending a COVID-safe summer pack to each student before the year ends. The contents of the pack will help students maintain healthy hygiene practices and to stay COVID-safe during the school holidays.

Here are some quick tips to help you and your families stay COVID-safe during the school holidays:

  • Encourage your children to use their packs whenever they leave the house
  • Meet outdoors whenever possible and wear sunscreen
  • Meet in small groups
  • Encourage good hand hygiene practices and remind your children to cough and sneeze into their elbow
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest health information by monitoring the NSW Government website

From all of us at Wingham Brush PS, be safe and enjoy the school holidays.

‘To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream, not only plan, but also believe.’ - Anatole France

Regards,

Kylie Seaman

CELEBRATION CONCERT USB

Don't miss your chance to buy the 2020 Celebration Concert USB.

As we are unable to have a musical performance at the MEC (Manning Entertainment Centre) this year we decided to produce a montage of items from all the classes and across the school. The entire production will be supplied on individual USB. The cost will be $10 each. The students have been working very hard and are quite excited to share their production with you all.

The pre-ordered USB's will be sent home this Friday 11 December. After this day the USB will be available to purchase for $10 at the office. Please allow enough time for them to be produced.

6N Happenings

What does a golfer, a ballerina and a soldier have in common? Well, you will need check out our video in this year’s virtual concert to find out. We have been working hard this term to create an interesting and varied video sure to entertain all. We have also been working on the Year 6 Fun Day, creating fun games and challenges for the other students.

Over the last few weeks, we have been reminiscing and remembering, sharing funny memories and treasured experiences. We are going to miss our familiar and beloved school but are excited to start the next chapter of our lives. We wanted to thank all the teachers, staff and volunteers who have helped and guided us through the last 7 years of schooling. We would not be the people we are today without you.
