Last month we had fantastic results of all year levels being over 93%.  This month the awesome year 5 students have maintained their attendance percentage of 94%.  Excellent effort year 5 students.  All other year levels decreased in attendance but I think next month will improve again and we will have all year levels back over 93%.  It is great that we are still in the 90th percentile, however, we want to beat like schools so come every day!

Last reporting period we had 88 students without an explanation for absences and now we are down to 73!  Great job parents.  All you have to do is reply to the SMS to let us know your child is sick and it’s done.  In a more detailed analysis:

K – stayed the same with 9 students

P/P – from 11 down to 9

Yr 1 -  from 6 up to 10

Yr 2 -  from 16 down to 10, great job!

Yr 3 – stayed the same with 14 students

Yr 4 – from 6 down to 3, well done!

Yr 5 – from 13 down to 6, WOW GO YEAR 5 PARENTS!

Yr 6 – from 15 down to 10, excellent effort!

In general, you have done a great job parents and I hope soon to see these numbers decrease down to zero!

Year 4 parents are nearly there, with Year 5’s not far off.  Let’s see who gets to 0 first.

Aussie Optimism Workbooks

It has been great to see lots of families purchasing the Aussie Optimism workbooks from the office via Qkr, Eft or cash over the last week.

Aussie Optimism is a program that our school has identified as an integral part of our Health program. We are aiming to have 100% participation from Year 1 – 6 students.

At the moment, around 85% of students have a workbook and are ready to begin the program in their class. We have 50 workbooks in the office waiting to be purchased for $13.50 by students who do not yet have one.

A note was sent home last week with students who do not yet have a workbook.

Thank you

Clinton Ayres

Deputy Principal

Students from A6 will have their work displayed

YOGA

Yoga will be commencing Monday 17th May at 8.15am

Classroom between B3 and Indonesian.

It is so exciting to see all of the applications for 2022 rolling in. Spaces are filling up fast, so if you are looking to be part of the fantastic Warwick family, be quick, get those completed applications in as soon as possible.

If you have a child who is looking to gain entry to one of our Specialist / Elite Programs, we are holding trial days on 3 and 17 June 2021. To be able to attend either of these days, you need to have submitted a complete application pack with all of the relevant documentation included. We will contact all prospective students late May to invite them to their chosen trial dates.

If you have any questions, please contact our enrolments officer Pam Bayliss; Pamela.Bayliss@education.wa.edu.au
