Return to onsite learning
It has been lovely to see the students returning to onsite learning this week. There has been a great sense of joy as friends have reconnected in person and have had the opportunity to enjoy each other's company. We have been impressed by the behaviour of all of the students; thank you to all of the students and parents for your support and cooperation with the COVID-safe rules and procedures.

Year 7 dTpa 2nd dose & Year 10 Meningococcal ACWY Vaccinations - Friday, 5 November
We have been advised from NSW Health that the school vaccination program is able to proceed for 2021. On the advice from NSW Health there is a requirement of 7 days between the COVID-19 vaccination to administering the Year 7 dTpa 2nd dose or Year 10 Meningococcal ACWY. If you are booked in for a COVID-19 vaccination this week we ask that you still proceed with your COVID-19 appointment and your daughter will be able to catch up with their Year 7 or Year 10 vaccine in next year's programme. NSW Health on the day will be able to check your daughter’s records to see if they are within the 7 day requirement. If you have any further questions please contact the college.
Commendation on mask wearing
The students are to be commended for their responsible wearing of masks as required by the NSW Department of Education and Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta, following that directive.
Five years ago, we changed the uniform to our current tracksuit. The outgoing Year 12s were the last group to buy the old ones in Year 7. Some students have been wearing hand-me-downs from older sisters but from next year all students need to wear the new tracksuits.
We understand that many students have grown significantly during the term of remote learning and that it has not been easy to have skirts taken down or new ones bought. There are quite a few students whose skirts will need to be let down or replaced. We will be reminding students but not enforcing skirt length this term. Near the end of the term, students whose skirts are too short will be given a reminder notice to have this addressed before the start of school in 2022. All students will need to start school in 2022 with skirts at the correct length - to the bottom of the knee.
For this term only, students will be allowed to wear PDHPE uniforms on any day they have PDHPE practical lessons, to ease congestion in changing areas. However, they cannot mix and match. In particular, the sport tracksuit top cannot be worn with the normal uniform. On colder days, students can wear the college jumper to and from school - it only has to be the blazer in Term 2 and 3.
Other uniform issues
Other than the points noted above, all other uniform expectations will be enforced, including the correct jewellery and nails.
