Easter Hat Parade
The staff and students are eagerly anticipating the Easter Hat Parade. We are looking forward to our parents and carers attending. You will need to sign in, use the QR code and follow COVID-19 safety measures.
Don’t be shy and please join in the fun. Mr Sullivan has a prize for the parent wearing the most interesting Easter Hat!
Will the Easter Bunny make an appearance?
Don’t miss out on the P&C Easter Raffle. Please return your tickets to the front office. Raffle will be drawn on Thursday 1 April at the parade.
Have Your Say
The school is currently in the process of developing a four year plan to enhance your child’s education. The ‘Have your Say’ survey was recently sent home and I would like to extend my thanks to all parents who responded.
After the hat parade, parents are invited to come and have a cuppa and a hot cross bun and participate in a group discussion to share your thoughts on what you think we can do to make our school even better.
There are five lucky door prizes to be won. Each lucky winner will walk away with a $20 dollar gift voucher. We really value your time and want you to have your say in your child’s education.
You will really enjoy reading this newsletter. There have been quite few terrific events occur at school of late - Big Vege Crunch, Harmony Day and excursions. The photos in this newsletter are fabulous. Thank you to all my staff who make these events happen through their good will.
Cross Country Carnival
Due to the course at Wollondilly Public School being too wet, our cross country carnival has been postponed until Wednesday, 21 April (Term 2, Week 1). New permission notes were sent home with students last week noting the revised date ( apologies to those families who have already returned the notes).. The carnival is for students turning 8 years this year and older.
Correct Child Restraints in Cars
I have noted that not all children are correctly restrained in cars when picked up from school. Please ensure that all children are secured safely. Heads Up- I have asked the police to patrol the area!
Good News Phone Calls
The staff and I have been making our, ‘Good News Phone Calls,’ in the last week. I must say they are a joy and it has been the highlight of my day! We are only making a couple a week, hope you get a call soon.
Thursday 1 April is the last day of Term 1. All the staff here at Goulburn Public School would like to wish everyone a safe and happy Easter and a restful holiday break . We look forward to seeing you all back on Tuesday 20 April for Term 2.
