The eleven disciples set out for Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had arranged to meet them. When they saw him they fell down before him, though some hesitated. Jesus came up and spoke to them. He said, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go, therefore, make disciples of all the nations; baptise them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teach them to observe all the commands I gave you. And know that I am with you always; yes, to the end of time.’
The Diocese of Parramatta celebrated the Bicentennial of Catholic Education on Monday 24th May with a special mass at St Patrick’s Cathedral, Parramatta. Every school across the Diocese was represented by a Student Leader, their parent and School Leaders. Thank You to James McGirr and Mr Paul McGirr, who attended as our student and parent representative.
The mass highlighted the many contributions of education from our early and simple beginnings right here in Parramatta, to a strong and diverse education system spread throughout all the corners of this Great Land.
Each school was presented with a 200 year Commemorative Plaque. This plaque will be placed at the front of the school office.

The surveys are an important part of our whole school evaluation and planning process. We would like to invite you to complete the Tell Them From Me (TTFM) Partners in Learning survey. As we value the role of parents and carers within our school community we would greatly appreciate your feedback. The information you provide will be used to maintain our commitment to working together in partnership to further improve student learning and wellbeing at Our Lady of Lourdes School. The survey is anonymous and will take approximately 20 minutes to complete.
Only students from Years 4-6 will complete the survey. This will be done at school.
