Photography and Creative Writing Competition – Local Government Week
We are inviting creative writers and photographers who live or study in the Cumberland City LGA, to submit a photograph, short story, essay, or poem for their chance to share in a prize pool of over $1000.
Local Government Week is designed to showcase the work councils do in their local communities, including the wide variety of services they provide. This year we’re running a Creative Writing and Photography Competition and the theme is ‘Locally Led’.
‘Locally led’ is about amplifying local ownership. Cumberland City is the epicentre of modern multicultural Australia led by a proud community that call Cumberland home. This is an opportunity to share what you think this means for our City!
Competition closes on Friday 20 August at 5pm. For more information, visit our website or see the flyer attached to this email.
