Term 4 Week 4: Monday 25th October 2021

Principal's Message

Dear Parents/Carers,

The students' return today was just wonderful! Seeing their friends and teachers was like Christmas had come early. I expect that many of them will be very tired after such a big day. It was a significant day for them and for our families as well. The events of the pandemic have caused quite a rethink by many of us around what's important in several elements of our lives and relationships.Congratulations on the incredible resilience that you have shown in managing the complexities of the pandemic as well!

This morning's drop-off went very well with parents alerted through Skoolbag that only Kiss and Drop was operating at the front carpark area. That will continue until further notice. It's hard to believe but we do still have families who don't have Skoolbag on their devices. It should be on everyone's device as an opportunity and a responsibility. Please make sure you have it and it works now!

The students spent a lot of time online during the pandemic using google. However there is another invaluable "search engine" that may be being underused. That "search engine" is our grandparents. There is so much wisdom and experience that google can never match! On Friday, as it is Grandparents' Day in Australia on October 31 students will receive a postcard that they can use to write to their Grandparents with questions they want to ask them on all sorts of things! Should be fun and a great way to further those important relationships between kids and their grandparents.

With appreciation of your ongoing support,

Stephen Dowd

Religious Coordinator's Message

Welcome back onsite to all our families for Term 4! May God bless us, keep us in His care and help us to continue to be the head, heart and hands of Christ in our world today. Take care of one another as we journey together toward Advent and Christmas.

Dear Jesus,

You promise to be with us always- we pray that You be with us today as we all return to school.

Bless our families who will think of us.

Please bless our friends and teachers.

Please keep us safe.

Please protect our hearts from fear and let us remember You are near.

Give us joy on this day! May we shine our light towards Your Way!
