From the Principal

Dear Parents and Carers,

I hope you all had a relaxing 4 day weekend with plenty of fun family time.  As we head into Autumn and cooler weather I feel the need to encourage the children to bring a jumper or coat to school to wear in the school yard.  Coats are not to be worn in the classrooms.

A reminder to complete the ESCI survey before the end of the term.  Information about how to login to the survey was sent home a couple of weeks ago.  Or is a downloadable link on this newsletter.

The staff had a professional learning day with Anne Ruddell on Friday to refine our School Wide Positive Behaviour Support approach.  This day outlined clear expectations for respectful, safe behaviours, the way we recognise positive behaviours and tiered consequences for inappropriate behaviours.  Information will be shared with parents in coming weeks.

Kind regards,

Olga Lyons, Principal

Enhancing Catholic School Identity (ECSI) Survey

As part of our lead up to a School Improvement review process in 2022 we are asking staff, Year 5 & 6 students and parents to complete a survey which will give us data on the status of our Catholic Culture.   Parents do not need to be Catholic to complete this survey.  A range of faith backgrounds leads to a more realistic overview of who makes up our Catholic School Identity.

One parent from each family can complete the survey.   The survey needs to be completed prior to the end of term 1.

A letter and instruction sheet will be sent home this week with the eldest in the family or can be downloaded from the link below.
