Presentation Day Assembly
Congratulations to all students who were recognised at the Presentation Assembly, we are proud of you. A recording of the assembly has been uploaded onto each classes Google classroom. Unfortunately, we were unable to have parents onsite with us but hopefully 2022 will be a better year for everyone.

Thank you Baxter, Tatum, Samantha and Caitlin for leading the school throughout 2021 in your roles as Captains and Vice Captains. I wish you every success in the future.

Planning for 2022
Plans are being put in place for 2022 as we speak. We will have six classes in 2022. Many staff will be changing classes in 2022. There will be two staff development days prior to the start of the school year on Friday 28th January and Monday 31st January 2021. School resumes for students in Years 1-6 on Tuesday 1st February. Kindergarten students will complete their Best Start Assessments in literacy and numeracy during that week and they will start school on Friday 4th February 2021.
Film by the Eucalyptus
This year, Mrs Hall has been working with the students in 5/6E to produce short films for the Blue Mountains Film by the Eucalypts. We have been successful, and we have had students from Blaxland PS nominated as finalists in the Film festival. Their films will be available from Friday night in the Film by the Eucalypts. The judges have said they were very impressed by our students acting and camera angles. Mrs Hall is very proud of everyone in this class for the hard work they have put into their films. They were so grown up, making great choices in creating art in a new media.
The children whose films were chosen to be in the festival are Samantha. Sienna, Anastasia, Ambrielle, Yazmyne, Shiv, Henry, Leo and Matthew.
The link for the film festival will be live from Friday night 10/12/21 after 6.30pm until the end of term 4.
