PRINCIPAL'S NEWS

Carnival Date Change

Please be aware, that due to the predicted weather on the original day of our Faction Carnival, we have now moved it to Tuesday 24th August.  We apologise for this decision, however, it is not safe to have the students running in the rain and I’m sure parents would not want to be sitting in the rain watching their child participate.

Please note this change on your calendar.  Your understanding and cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Wow, look at the difference in this report!  CONGRATULATIONS PARENTS/CARERS!!

We only have 60 unexplained absences.  The best change was in Year 5, with a decrease of 8 and still the Year 4’s with a very low 2!!  Nearly zero!

Please, please keep this up.  It is the lowest so far this year.  It would be awesome to get to zero so that is the challenge for parents and carers!  Students, you have to remind your parents to get your year level to zero!!

I think I will have to come up with a reward for any year level that gets to ZERO!

Remember it is very easy to reply to a text message when your child is sick and then it’s done and you don’t have to remember later.  In a more detailed analysis:

K      9 –  down to 5 students

P/P   10 – down to 5 students

Yr 1 13 – down to 8 students

Yr 2 13 - down to 11 students

Yr 3 13 – down to 12 students

Yr 4   6 – down to 2 students

Yr 5 15 – down to 7 students

Yr 6 15 – down to 10 students

Thank you so much everyone. I’m HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY!!
