A reading from the holy Gospel according to Mark

Jesus said to his disciples: ‘In those days, after the time of distress, the sun will be darkened, the moon will lose its brightness, the stars will come falling from heaven and the powers in the heavens will be shaken. And then they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory; then too he will send the angels to gather his chosen from the four winds, from the ends of the world to the ends of heaven.

‘Take the fig tree as a parable: as soon as its twigs grow supple and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. So with you, when you see these things happening: know that he is near, at the very gates. I tell you solemnly, before this generation has passed away all these things will have taken place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.

‘But as for that day or hour, nobody knows it, neither the angels of heaven, nor the Son; no one but the Father.’

As a school community we pray for the students of our school and parish who are preparing to make their First Communion.

Advice from NSW Health is that parents and carers should not send children to school if they are unwell, even if they have the mildest flu-like symptoms.  

Parents are required to have students tested if they are unwell for even the mildest of sysmptom, 

Schools will make arrangements for students who are unwell or have flu-like symptoms to be sent home.

If students are absent or have been sent home due to flu-like symptoms, they should not return until they have a negative COVID-19 test and are symptom-free.

Schools must sight the negative COVID-19 test result prior to allowing students  to return to school i.e. NSW Health or COVID-19 Testing Centre correspondence (SMS or email or hard copy) and/or a medical certificate must be provided to the school via email and a record of this kept by the school.

The canteen will no longer accept credits/I O U's , for this reason we strongly enrourage parents to open up a canteen school account  This can be used for student lunch orders, forgotten lunches and buying off the bench at recess and lunchtime. To open up a canteen account, please go to 

Lunch orders need to be placed via Flexi Schools or written on a paper bag brought in from home with the exact money placed inside before 9.30am .
