National Day of Action Against Bullying and Violence

Friday 19th March

MIPS students and teachers will take part in The National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence this Friday. NDA aims to help address bullying, raise awareness and elevate student voice.

The theme for the NDA 2021 is Take Action Together. It is an important day in our school calendar to join with other schools across Australia to say ‘Bullying. No Way!’ We have planned for some exciting activities for our students to deliver the powerful message that bullying is never ok.

At our school, we encourage students to take hold of the issue and talk about what works. Everyone has a role to play in supporting our students in dealing with bullying and helping to energise positive discussions about the issue. We invite our parents and school community to do the same.
