It’s hard to believe this is the last newsletter of the school year, and we are now counting down the days until Father Christmas visits! We've had a very busy term with many classes attending camps, report writing, graduations etc, and now it is time for a well-earned break.
It's that time of year when we say farewell to our year 6 & 7 students moving on to high school. We've had two camps, two graduation ceremonies, and two graduation assemblies in recent weeks to acknowledge our students and reflect on their time at Angaston Primary School. I hope they remember their time at Angaston with fondness, and wish them all the very best for the future.
We also farewell Mrs Cameron, Ms Cheers, Mr Norton, Ms Seelander, Mrs Ferguson and Ms Menzel. They have made significant contributions to the school in their time with us and we wish them all the very best in their new endeavours.
A big thank you to the many volunteers who had a start stop relationship with the school this year thanks to COVID restrictions. I am very grateful to the Governing Council, Fundraising, parents and friends etc for their support and contribution to the school.
I would also like to say thank you to the staff at Angaston Primary School who continue to work hard to improve learning outcomes for our students. I appreciate the extra hours they contribute to the school above and beyond what is expected.

The upper primary and middle primary units swapped this week. If your child is in an upper primary class next year, they are now located in the middle primary unit next to the admin block. Middle primary classes are now located in the old upper primary unit near the library. We will update signage next year.
Our preschool children finished their formal transition visits to Angaston Primary School last week, and we are really looking forward to welcoming the children and their families next year.
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Keep safe, and enjoy spending time with your children over the holidays. We look forward to seeing you on Monday 31st January 2021.
