COVID-19 Update
Restrictions have continued to ease across NSW. All schools previously on Level 3 Plus have now been lower to Level 3. All school across NSW are now operating under the same set of restrictions. The full set of operating guidelines can be found at:

Queanbeyan High School Visits CFPS
Queanbeyan High School will be working with Year 5 and students entering Year 7 at QHS on Monday 29 November. This will be a good opportunity to meet high school teachers and ask some questions about Queanbeyan High School.
High School Orientations 2022
Both Karabar HS and Queanbeyan HS will conduct their Year 7 2022 Orientation Program on Wednesday 8 December (Week 10). This will be an amazing opportunity for our students to see their high school and ask all the questions they want of their new set of teachers. We strongly recommend all our Year 6 students to attend their high school orientations on this date.
Small Schools Spelling Challenge
The Small Schools Spelling Challenge ran very smoothly last week. Our students participated really well. Each student needs to be congratulated on their amazing efforts. The junior competition was won by Grenfell PS, and the senior competition was won by a nail biting finish by Collector PS.
Public Speaking Competition
The Small Schools across out region competed for the Directors Shield. This competition saw our own Kayta and Lucy competing with other schools from across the region. Each of our girls spoke real well, and you can see their efforts now on Facebook. The adjudicators enjoyed Lucy's presentation so much, that she came first and will be the first student on our region to entered on the Director's Shield!
Flaherty Food Van
Our school will spend its final Friday going down to the Flaherty Food Van for lunch and a play on the play equipment and local oval. Please return any food orders ASAP. We enjoyed our previous visit in 2022, and we hope to have another great visit in week 10.
Presentation Day 2021
Our 2021 Presentation Day is scheduled for Thursday 9 December and will begin at 9.30am. Currently, we are unable to have external visitors part of this experience. We will record the event and post on YouTube on this day. We encourage you to keep the date in your diary, in the event restrictions ease and we can have visitors attending this event.
