From the Principal

Dear Parents and Carers,

I hope all our mums had a lovely day last Sunday.  My first experience of the Mother's Day breakfast here at St. Patrick's was an enjoyable one.  Thank you to the team of mums and dads who did the set up and food preparation.  The photo booth was a great success.

It has been a joy to see so many of our students excel at the local and interschool sporting events.  Well done to all who competed and were selected to represent our school at the next competition.

NAPLAN came and went without too much fuss.  Congratulations to the year 3 & 5 students who approached the assessments calmly and prepared to do their best.

I will be in Ballarat this Thursday & Friday to attend a conference with Diocesan Principals and Parish Priests.  This is an opportunity to reimagine the pastoral role of the Parish Priests in our schools.

Next Wednesday night at 6:30pm we are holding a 2022 enrolment information night.  If you know of anyone who isn't already a member of our school community, who might be interested, please pass on this information to them.

Next week our Confirmation Candidates will be doing their final preparation before receiving the Sacrament on Friday night.  I wish them and their sponsors well.

Kind regards,

Olga Lyons, Principal
