Principal's Message

2021 - We Rise to the Challenge!

Welcome to a year in which we will build on our great success of 2020. Last year we faced many challenges as a school community and we just continued to rise and grow - to flourish! The challenge this year is to focus our work on what we achieved through meeting last year's challenges.

So what did we do so well? We adapted. We learned. We improvised. We collaborated. We remained focused. As a school, we actually put into action the six characteristics of Assessment Capable Learners that we seek to develop in our students.

I am really excited about our year ahead - lots of growth for us all as a learning community and lots of further improvements to our school site!

It was great to see all our students return - none more so than our new 2021 Kinders and other students joining our school for the first time. Our students have all made a great start to the year. There will be challenges ahead but we are well placed to meet them and continue to flourish in 2021.

With appreciation for your ongoing support,

Stephen Dowd

Donations made to St Vincent De Paul Low Income Families - Thank you

On behalf of St Vincent Depaul, I would like to thank all the staff and students for the donations of items for the Christmas hampers. Your school's generous donations of food items and children's gifts towards the Christmas Hampers were very much appreciated. An amazing 50+ hampers were delivered to low-income families during the Christmas period. Extra hampers were also delivered to a charity called "House of Welcome" who support refugees (individuals and families) who are seeking asylum. "House of Welcome" has shared a post on Facebook page:
