Acknowledgement of Country

We Acknowledge the Gunditjmara people, the Traditional Owners of the land on which we are gathered today.

We respect and honour Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders, past, present and future. We acknowledge their stories, traditions and living cultures on this land and commit to building a brighter future together.

From The Principal - Olga Lyons

From the Principal

Who could have predicted the Circuit Breaker Action taken by the Victorian Government that interrupted our smooth start to the 2021 school year?  Thank you to the staff and parents who adapted so quickly to a home learning program and made themselves available to supervise onsite groups.  We had an average of 13 students of essential workers to supervise at school each day.  The teachers have planned remote learning programs that we will implement should there be further lockdowns ahead.  I thing I know for certain is that schools were meant to be places full of busy, happy children and not empty classrooms and playgrounds.  There are smiles all around today now that we are back!

Kind regards,

Olga Lyons, Principal

Enhancing Catholic School Identity (ECSI) Survey

As part of our lead up to a School Improvement review process in 2022 we are asking staff, Year 6 students and parents to complete a survey which will give us data on the status of our Catholic Culture.   Parents do not need to be Catholic to complete this survey.  A range of faith backgrounds leads to a more realistic overview of who makes up our Catholic School Identity.

One parent from each family can complete the survey.   The survey needs to be completed prior to the end of term 1.

A letter and instruction sheet will be sent home next week with the eldest in the family.
