Its heating up and the holidays are in sight. With Summer starting, it is a timely reminder that your child has a hat and drink bottle each day.
Presentation Day
Our Presentation Assembly is Thursday 10 December commencing at 9am. We do need to be very diligent around our COVID-19 plan (end of the newsletter) and ensure that it is for immediate family only and that only those who RSVP will be permitted to attend, so please return your RSVP's by Monday 7 December.
As I am sure we all know by now, things are very different this year and I appreciate your support in helping us follow guidelines.
Our planning will also require every family to check in via the school generated QR Code. This allows for contacting tracing if and when needed.
Party Day
Our school party day will be Tuesday 15 December. A note went home asking students to bring some party food and a Christmas bauble gift for our Secret Santa, to be placed under our Christmas tree.
Farewell Mrs Somerville
The last few weeks we have had the pleasure of Mrs Somerville working with Wattles as a prac teacher. Tomorrow will be Mrs Somerville's last day at Mt Kanwary Public school and we wish her well with the remainder of her studies.
