Mount Kanwary Public school is a busy and productive place as Term 3 commences.
Thank you to our parents who are helping keep our school community safe by waiting outside the school gates and not sending students to school if they are unwell.
If you wish to speak with any staff please ring the school office prior to entering school grounds to ensure our is school complying with DoE COVID guidelines.
Education Week
Due to the current COVID restrictions, we will not be able to proceed with the planned Education Week Presentation Ceremony for our Maitland Learning Community. To celebrate this important event, the schools in the Maitland Learning Community will instead be collaborating on a video focusing on this year's theme 'Lifelong Learners' and of course, acknowledging the award recipients from every school.
We thank you for your understanding. The video will be posted on the Facebook page of every school in our learning community at 6.30pm on Wednesday 28 July. Save the date!
Attendance Reports
As part of our focus on positive attendance we will be sending home attendance reports twice a term in Week 5 and Week 10. This will help to give parents a better understanding of the impact attendance can have on their child's learning.
New Playground Equipment
We are excited to introduce our new addition to the playground.
Our trampoline!!
Thank you to Mr Shearman for his wonderful patience in constructing and organising the play area for our trampoline. The students are loving the new addition.
