From the Principal

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

St. Patrick's is a hive of activity and excitement this week.  On Tuesday our 2022 class grouping met one another for the first time, our Year 6 (2022) students presented their Leadership speeches and voted for the candidates, we prepared for our Year 6 Graduation and practiced enthusiastically for our Carols night.  No wonder we are dizzy with all this busyness, but we wouldn't have it any other way.

Please be advised that final statements for the year have gone out for 2021 school fee. Prompt full payment of fees would be appreciated.  If this is a concern for families, please make contact to make alternative payment arrangements.

Let me take this opportunity to thank all families for their involvement in our school community this year.  Any support, big or small, makes our school a better place to learn and form friendships.  I pray that you all have a wonderful lead up to Christmas and spend quality time with family and friends.

There will be a brief newsletter early next week.

Kind regards,

Olga Lyons, Principal

Leadership & Stewardship

Face Masks

Even though restrictions are easing in the community, primary schools remain under tight guidelines to maintain student safety.  In particular, restrictions to visitors and continued wearing of face masks.  I thank everyone for their understanding and support in this matter.

Face masks will now only be required by staff, visitors, and Years 3 to 6 students in an indoor space within a primary school (or schools which have primary students, such as a P–12 school).

The wearing of masks remains recommended for Prep to Year 2 students and in circumstances where physical distancing cannot be maintained.

Last Day for Students Term 4

Our students' last day will be Thursday December 16. Students are to be collected at 2.20pm.

We were fortunate enough to be awarded a grant of $300 from the VSGP Advisory Committee to be put into our school gardening budget. Well done to Jorja Lowe and Andrew Gapes, our sustainability leaders, for the effort they put in assisting with creating the slideshow presentation we sent to the Victorian Schools Garden Program.

The presentation ceremony premiered on Thursday 2nd December at 11.00am but you can watch it any time using this link here
