30km Beyond Blue Coastrek

A Huge congratulations to Mrs Loveridge, Mr Polson, Miss Collins and Mr Hampton on completing the 30km coast Trek walk today. We are very proud of this huge effort and with the help of the PNPS we have raised an additional $470.85 towards Beyond Blue.

No students allowed on school grounds before 8.30am

Unfortunately we have had a growing number of children arriving at school before 8.30am. The front playground is supervised by a teacher from 8.30-9.00am. If you child is at school before this time we will need to contact you and ask you to collect them and return at 8.30am.

We understand the juggling act of getting to work and childcare but the safety and wellbeing of our children comes first.

The YMCA is available for morning care on school grounds.

Parking and Safe Driving

Dear Parents/ Carers,

We have had an overwhelming amount of complaints regarding parking and unsafe driving around the school during morning drop off and afternoon pick up. We would kindly ask that Parents/Carers do not park in, or over, any surrounding houses driveways and to be respectful of residences entering and exiting their homes during these times.

We understand that parking can sometimes be difficult at drop off and pick up times, and as we have 3 entry and exits points we kindly ask you to ensure the safe crossing of the road with your child/children.

 After School Pickup

We would also ask that you are at school and ready to collect your children by 3pm. If you are unable to do so please contact the school office or have alternative arrangements made. Our Teachers will direct students to the school office if they are not collected by 3.10pm.

 We appreciate your assistance.

Harmony Day 2021

Thursday, 18th March, we celebrated Harmony day at PNPS. This is a day where we celebrate culture and diversity in Australia. Our focus was on inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for all Australians, from the traditional owners of the land to those who have come from many countries around the world.

The SRC did a great job supporting students in classroom activities to learn and understand how all Australians equally belong to this nation and enrich it.

We would like to thank all staff and students for wearing Orange and showing your support.

Water Week March 8th - 12th

At Panania North Water Week SPLASHED into action, students brought in their water bottles everyday and regularly refilled them, not only to stay healthy and hydrated but also to build awareness around the value of water.

Access to clean water is hugely important to our daily lives, and it’s down to all of us to protect our water environments and resources, and use water wisely.

A fantastic effort from all classes involved, hopefully students try and make every week water week.

NSW Police Legacy Child Safety Hub

The “NSW Police Legacy Child Safety Handbook” is a comprehensive resource to assist parents, carers as well as teachers on a range of topics essential to child safety.  The handbook has been updated to include key messages about COVID-19 safety and bush fire safety given the unprecedented fires we experienced earlier this year.  The updated digital edition (link below) also includes important content updates from: NSW Ministry of Health, NSW Police Force, Fire and Rescue NSW, Rural Fire NSW, Transport for NSW, Sydney Trains, NSW Department of Family & Community Services, eSafety Commissioner and NSW Office of the Children's Guardian.

It is the responsibility of each parent to research the bona fides of any organisation, in which you wish your child to be involved.
